What is the Nature of God?

Real of not, God has always been a object of fascination, he has defined people's lives and caused wars. If God really is real than which religion is right, and why do so many bad things happen?

Cancer

Cancer is a disease which there is no real cure for and is one of the deadliest diseases we know. Cancer can strike anyone, kids or adults. If God is real why do diseases like cancer exist

Children dying

According to the world health organisation 5.9 million children under 5 died in 2015 - 16,000 a day. How could any God let so many innocent children die?

The Nature of God

If God is real than he is sadistic and enjoys watching adults and children die. In the bible it says that he kills anyone who is not a devout christian, how can this 'God' be trusted?
